 Due to company growth and expansion, we are seeking a Mills CNC Manufacturing Engineer. The Mills Manufacturing Engineer must have CNC Milling experience and will create CNC programs for the Milling operation. The Mills Engineer will work closely with machine setup personnel to assist them with Mills machine setups.


  • Create Mills CNC programs using Part Maker and post processing software for Mills machines.
  • Determine the required cutting tools, speeds and feeds and prepare tooling setup sheets to simplify tooling methods.
  •  Participate in part validations of new part programs.
  • Communicate effectively with setup personnel, engineers, management and individuals in and outside the company as needed.
  •  Assist in the training of Setup personnel with existing and new part programs.
  • Produce preliminary setup documentation; work with design engineers for all necessary work holding drawings, fixtures and tooling. Maintain all electronic files associated with production of new or existing parts, (source files, verification files, drawings and engineering files).
  • Minimum of five years programming experience in a production environment.
  • Bachelor degree, or vocational training or equivalent training and experience.
  •  Must have experience with multi axis Mills machines.
  • Programming experience with Part Maker, edit CAD/CAM files as needed and able to work with models.
  •  Strong math background, knowledge of cutting tool geometry and speeds and feeds for the material being machined.
  • Working knowledge of GD & T.
