Job Description

The QA/RA intern will assist the Quality/Regulatory team in all aspects of the quality and/or regulatory field.   The job will consist of various quality and regulatory tasks that may change from day to day including the EtQ Reliance software application system across all Tecomet sites.  This position will work closely with the site quality team and the EtQ administrator to create, develop and execute various software application activities.  All job functions will be accomplished by maintaining Tecomet’s principles of Safety, Quality, Customer Satisfaction and Innovations.


  • Support department in creation/development of regulatory strategies for new projects.
  • Duties will include identification, research, and sustainability of the application software system.
  • Develop, organize, and manage various internal requests in relation to the ETQ implementation.
  • Perform initiation and execution of assigned task within the ETQ software.
  • Maintain and create master lists of required documentation. 
    • Assist in the maintenance of FDA listing/submissions for Tecomet products.
    • Support the QA/RA team with ISO audits and technical file reviews.
    • Assist in documenting clear and concise audit reports and findings.
    • Interfaces with quality engineers to initiate and document EtQ established tasks and requirements.
    • Most tasks will be computer based, however, there may be production support, product review, customer interaction, and audit based tasks on a regular basis depending on the Intern’s ability to learn.
    • Learn and practice daily Lean practices introduced in the quality/regulatory department.
  • Additional functions and requirements may be assigned by manager as deemed appropriate.
    • Participate as a team member when asked for a kaizen event.


  • Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Able to quickly learn and navigate the company’s computer based business systems.
  • Able to work in a team environment and/or independently with little or no supervision.
  • Ability to communicate well, both in oral and written form.
  • Ability to listen and learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Refined problem solving skills.
  • Able to read and comprehend instructions in a timely manner to meet set deadlines.
  • Commitment to the growth and continuous improvement of the company and Tecomet employees.


  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Currently enrolled or post high school courses taken in a two to four year degree program.
  • Related experience and/or training in the Quality/Regulatory field helpful.
