Job Description

Position requires the ability to assemble simple to complex parts.  An assembler has the responsibility to repair parts that have been returned from the field for repair.  Must be able to meet production schedule according to the standards of safety, quality, schedule and innovation.   


  • Assemble simple parts according to the floor router and blueprint.
  • Assemble complex parts consisting of variety of different parts according to floor router and blueprint.
  • Can assess the job and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Actively participate in 5S daily operator checklist responsibilities.
  • Additional functions and requirements may be assigned by supervisors as deemed appropriate.


  • Ability to use standard mill.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, micrometers, and calipers.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Able to communicate respectfully with others and work in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize tasks on a daily basis.
  • Learn and practice daily any/all Lean practices introduced in area.
  • Ability to meet production metrics as required for position.
  • Participate as a team member when asked for a kaizen event.
  • Ability to meet attendance requirements per the employee handbook policy.


  • High School diploma and three to six months experience in a manufacturing environment.
