Our Riviera Beach, Florida location is currently seeking at Statistical Process Control Intern to assist the Engineering department.



This is a paid internship opportunity for a 3rd or 4th year Engineering student, this is a great opportunity to be mentor directly by our Engineer Manager.



Position: Intern - Lean Cell implementation



DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Support the Engineering team in the the creation of a Lean product Cell Implementation and develop a process for Insourcing electro polish.



  • Interns collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product sustainment.



  • Work with a variety of tools including LDM, Std, Playbooks, Visual Mgt, Work Instructions, TPM, SMED, Hr. by Hr. Heijunka.



REQUIREMENTS:  



  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.



  • ​Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.



  • Have good reading vision, hearing perception, and able to speak clearly.



  • Works up to 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.



  • Sitting/Standing up to 9 hours per day, ability to lift 45 lbs., ability to walk, no respiratory issues.



  • Has fine motor skills and rapid mental-muscular coordination.



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:



 3rd Or 4th Year College  Engineering student
