Job Summary

Under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager, serves as main point of contact for all material movement within the facility.  

Essential Job Functions

  • Serves as the main point of contact for material movement, coordination and handling within the facility.
  • Verify and validate the correct material to be used, staged and stored for production jobs.
  • Facilitate job queues per production requirements; assures job schedules are accurate and distributed on a regular basis. 
  • Keeps records of material on hand.
  • Ensures priority jobs are accelerated.
  • Verifies documents and in-process inspection data for regulatory compliance.
  • Takes ownership when counting inventory for finished goods and sub-assemblies.  Utilizes ERP as system of record. 
  • Verify part counts are accurate and consistent.  Ensure neat, organized storage of material within facility.
  • Support inventory cycle counts as needed.
  • Housekeeping of work, staging, and storage areas.
  • Packages, crates, bundles, prepares product for shipment and receiving as needed
  • Maintains a clean work area.
  • Follows existing policies, practices and procedures.
  • May be required to be flexible with work schedule.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required; Associates degree helpful.
  • 2-4 years related experience, education and/or training.
  • Working knowledge of EN ISO 13485 preferred.
  • Immediately identifies and reports concerns.
  • Willingly asks questions and seeks direction.
  • Effectively gives and receives feedback.
  • Knows and follows all safety requirements.
  • Good verbal communication skills with all staff.

    1. Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
  2. Visual abilities
    1. Average visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery, including personal computer
  3. Hearing
    1. Able to hear average or normal conversation
    2. Moderate-loud noise level
  4. Physical Strength
    1. Position requires sitting and standing most of the time
    2. Occasional bending, stooping, lifting
    3. Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
