Tecomet Riviera Beach is a growing, dynamic manufacturer of high precision machined parts, medical device components and electro-mechanical assemblies.  We specialize in machining precision parts from titanium, aluminum, stainless steel and plastics that demand close tolerance and superior cosmetic finishing.  

Position: Quality Control Clerk

Summary: To assist Quality department with varying room duties to ensure the successful administration of the location

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists with general quality room duties (such as but not limited to computer processing, typing, moving jobs, answering phone, sorting parts, etc.) to aid in the administration of the location.
  • Assist all department heads with inquiries and concerns in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Assumes responsibility for accurately completing computer/paper work and communicating findings in to individuals.
  • Follow established processes for day-to-day routine tasks and receives guidance from Quality Room Supervisor.
  • Ensures that incoming items are appropriately identified and logged to facilitate quick selections and inspection.
  • The selected candidate will be able to prioritize multiple tasks and build effective relationships within a collaborative team environment.
  • The duties listed above are not inclusive of any other duties that may be deemed necessary as part of the business needs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent Customer Service Ability
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Excellent Computer and Typing Skill including Microsoft programs
  • Excellent Phone Etiquette
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends, and some evenings
  • Ability to maintain and project professional behaviors.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to Stand, Walk, Bend, Reach and possible sit for up to 8 hours.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years in a manufacturing environment
  • Microscope and Quality Inspection equipment
  • One to two years previous customer service
